New Zealand, abound with scenic beauty and adventurous appeal, entices several thousand every year to visit New Zealand. If you do not hail from a country entitled under the visa waiver countries list issued by the New Zealand Department of Immigration, you’ll require a visitor visa to visit New Zealand to explore it and enjoy sports or adventure alongside sightseeing activities. With this visa, you can stay up to 9 months in New Zealand and can even study up to 3 months. If you wish, you may include your partner and dependent children below 19 years of age in your visa application.

In order to obtain visa, you must fulfil the following:

  • You must not be a security risk to New Zealand and must satisfy all character requirements.
  • You are allowed to visit New Zealand only for a period up to 9 months in an 18 month period. This period may be extended to 12 months given you need more time to complete your tourist itinerary or can’t leave the country due to reasons beyond your control or have applied for a residence for the first time.
  • You must display an intention to leave New Zealand before the expiry of your visa. In case the officer senses any other intention, chances are you’ll be denied the visa.
  • You must have sufficient funds to support yourself while you are in New Zealand and must not there mustn’t be unnecessary burden on the country’s economy due to your presence.
  • You are strictly not allowed to work on this visa, although you may study up to 3 months.

Student Parent Visits
